Venues NSW
The NSW Government established Venues NSW on 2 March 2012 to manage government owned sporting and entertainment venues in the Hunter, Western Sydney and Illawarra including:
- Parramatta Stadium
- WIN Stadium and WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong
- Hunter Stadium in Newcastle
- Newcastle Entertainment Centre and Showground
- Other venues formerly managed by Hunter Region Sporting Venues Authority
Venues NSW Board
The Venues NSW Board was appointed by the Minister for Sport and Recreation and includes:

- Janett Milligan – Office of Communities representative
- Jane Spring
- Vicki Tiegs – Illawarra Local Venues Council Chair

Local Venues Councils
Local communities will continue to have a say in how their venues are managed through Local Venues Councils established in the Hunter, Western Sydney and Illawarra.
Local Venues Councils provide advice to Venues NSW about the needs of their community.
An expression of interest process was used to encourage interested members of the community to apply to join their Local Venues Council.
The following members have been appointed to Local Venues Councils in the Hunter, Western Sydney and Illawarra.
