Each year, $250,000 is allocated to the Community War Memorials Fund, administered by the State War Memorials Committee, to assist RSL, community groups and local councils to refurbish and repair war memorials.
The Committee includes representatives of the RSL, the NSW Shires Association and the Government Architect's Office and is chaired by the Director of the Office for Veterans' Affairs. In 2010-11 a total of $249,990 was allocated to 34 projects.
