Community War Memorials Fund

About the Office of Communities

On Sunday 3 April the new Premier Barry O’Farrell announced his full Ministry and administrative arrangementsfor the public sector.

As part of these new arrangements, an Office of Communities has been established in the newly created Department of Education and Communities.

The Office of Communities comprises the following:

The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust and NSW Institute of Sport are Division 2 entities.

Other functions previously the responsibility of Communities NSW have been transferred to other departments. These include the business areas of arts and culture, parklands, responsible drinking and gambling, and Western Sydney and are listed below:
